Inngrodd, a Norwegian word meaning ingrained, explores the connection between human biology, everyday routines, and the landscape we inhabit.
Created as an early study for a larger print, the artwork combines the structure of the insulin molecule with abstract forms inspired by the mountains and valleys surrounding my home. The composition reflects how invisible biological processes and familiar environments quietly shape our lives over time.
Printed using a traditional four-layer linocut technique, the layered green tones evoke growth, memory, and the subtle rhythms that connect body and place.
Each print is individually hand printed, signed, and numbered as part of a limited edition of 24.
